For example, people have been known to change their names to ‘Tom And Jerry', ‘Smoky Mirror' and ‘Ken Tucky'!
People considering taking on a 'fun name' who belong to a professional body are advised to check with the body first to ensure there will be no problems registering their new name with them. A funny name may not be appreciated in certain industries. For example, an accountant being called Scooby Doo may not go down well with The National Society of Accountants!
