Rearranging Current Names
Some people like their names, but don’t like the order. This could be because of pronunciation and spelling difficulties or simply due to personal preference. Officially rearranging your current names is very easy.
For example, a surname and a middle name can change places in order to have a preferred surname without losing the original one. Likewise, you can rearrange forenames in whatever way you desire. It is also possible to simply change the spelling of current names.
In order to make any of these changes official, a Deed Poll must be applied for. Upon receiving the Deed Poll document, it must be signed and dated in the presence of a witness. Then you can send the Deed Poll, or certified copies of the document, to government agencies and companies to update their records to reflect the new name.
